Andreas Huber

Managing Director German Association for the Club of Rome
Board of Directors Desertec Foundation

"Today we are setting the course for the world in which our children will live in ten years. They will look at our generation and ask: 'What did you do back then
'?

Everyone must decide how he or she wants to be seen by future generations: as an obstacle or as an agent of change?"

Andreas Huber has been a passionate speaker for sustainable development and sustainability for the last ten years. He is a member of the German Association for the CLUB OF ROME- a think tank for future issues that also includes Prof. Mojib Latif, Prof. Ernst-Ulrich von Weizsäcker and Prof. Radermacher.

A lecture during his studies inspired him to rethink his point of view and to change his life. In 2007 he started working as an intern for several organisations and was soon given leadership positions in various projects. Only three years later he was appointed Managing Director of the German Association of the CLUB OF ROME and two years later - at 32 years old - made one of its 40 members.

His lectures convey much more than theoretical knowledge about sustainability and global challenges. They shake up our narratives, encourage new ways of thinking and instigate a change of perspective.
