CITY CYCLING 2024: registration for municipalities now open
Cities and towns from across Europe can now register for this year's edition of the Climate Alliance's CITY CYCLING campaign. The campaign invites local politicians and the public to cycle for their municipalities and promote cycling as well as advocate climate action. Participating municipalities choose 21 consecutive days between May and September during which the campaign is to be implemented. Last year, over one million people took part in the successful cycling campaign – a record!
Municipalities outside Germany can also take part in CITY CYCLING. The requirements and rules are identical, but there is a 20% discount on the participation fee if the language of the country is not German and therefore not all materials can be fully utilised. Talk to your partner city abroad or organise the competition across national borders!
