Developing sustainable local heating and cooling plans

The transition towards sustainable heating and cooling requires strategic planning and coordinated action at the local level. This webinar will explore the first steps in developing sustainable local heating and cooling plans and share experiences from municipalities in Southern Europe that are already engaging in this process.

Participants will learn about key challenges municipalities may face when preparing their plans and discuss approaches to overcome them. A central part of the webinar will be the presentation of the Plan4COLD Handbook, which provides a step-by-step methodology and practical guidance for defining, planning, implementing and monitoring local heating and cooling strategies.
