Cities driving the green recovery: boosting investments for local actions

The current crises are adding a lot of financial pressure on local authorities. Now more than ever it is important for cities to match financial resilience with climate resilience. The purpose of this event is to present and discuss with European policy makers and city officials how the European City Facility can support local authorities to transform their local climate and energy roadmaps into real investments. This event contributes to the ongoing discussion on how to best tap the potential of public funds and how to remove barriers to accelerate the transition to a clean energy system.
The session is part of the programme of this year’s EU Sustainable Energy Week. The event is being organised by Climate Alliance together with Energy Cities.
