(Un-)pave the way: How municipalities can use public campaigns for unsealing surfaces

Campaigns such as “Abpflastern” (in Germany) and “Tegelwippen” (in Netherlands) are making climate adaptation more accessible to a broader public, focusing on how surfaces and spaces can be unsealed and unpaved in municipalities by different actors. At the same time, many municipalities are taking the lead on this topic and already formulating strategies or unsealing paved areas.

The aim of this session is to focus on municipalities’ experiences so far and exchange on which approaches and ideas are working well. Further, this webinar will also focus on other (European) stakeholders that are active in unsealing and soil protection.
