Communication: Responses to the multiple crises of our time

The closing off of the Strait of Hormus is the latest reminder of Europe’s high vulnerability due to its dependency on fossil resources. This conflict and the severed supply chain fuels existing crises and creates new ones, such as food security due to the shortage of fossil-based fertilizer. At the same time people look at administrations to deliver responses to the crisis at hand.

Through this interactive online seminar, let us explore and discuss how municipalities can respond to, increase resilience and show ways out of these crisis – be it strengthening our democracies, promoting of climate action and contributing to local, national, EU-wide and international agreements as well as meaningfully informing and motivating people to decrease their individual dependencies on fossil fuels across Europe.
