Promoting energy community one-stop-shops in Eastern Europe
LIFE-ECOss supports accelerating Eastern Europe’s Energy Transition.
LIFE-ECOss addresses the critical lack of support for urban Energy Communities in Central and Eastern Europe, where progress is slow and risks of corporate capture are high. It achieves this by transferring and adapting Spain’s highly successful, public-led Community Transition Office model to three demo sites in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary. Results from these experiences will be also replicated and disseminated in other EU countries.

LIFE-ECOss
Within the LIFE-ECOss project, Climate Alliance will lead the overall dissemination and communication strategy, as well as the broader replication and policy-focused activities. The organisation will leverage its extensive network to drive targeted outreach initiatives and coordinate key promotional activities. These efforts will ensure effective engagement with stakeholders, maximising the reach, visibility and adoption of the project’s main outputs, such as the ECOss Replication Toolkit and policy recommendations for local government bodies.
