From 2023 to 2025, the NetZeroCities Team has paired more than 50 Pilot Cities with Twin cities that were interested in replicating the pilot cities’ innovative approaches to climate neutrality. The latest booklet showcases their replication plans that span a variety of different thematic areas, such as sustainable mobility, circular economy, citizen engagement und energy transition.

The NetZeroCities Twinning Programme is one of the largest peer-learning initiatives running under the Cities Mission promoting climate neutrality. Climate Alliance led the implementation of Twinning process and supported the drafting process of the booklet.
