The European Commission’s recent guidance on One-Stop Shops (OSS) for energy efficiency marks a turning point: the conversation is no longer about why OSS matter, but how we can scale them up effectively.
When embedded in supportive frameworks, OSS can play a pivotal role in accelerating energy renovation rates and mobilising investment in energy efficiency. But what do these frameworks look like? Which models have been tested across the EU? And which actually work? What recommendations should we make to Member States, municipalities and regions looking to support OSS?
