EU Climate Pact: New ambassadors wanted

The call for applications for new ambassadors to the European Climate Pact runs from 1 to 31 October. Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis, so early applications are welcome.

EU Climate Pact Ambassadors help to make climate change more understandable and inspire their neighbours, communities, organisations and governments to take meaningful action. They get involved in their local communities and represent the EU Climate Pact at events at local, national and EU level. Furthermore, they forge links with other stakeholders, collaborate with them and promote peer-to-peer learning. The current community of EU Climate Pact Ambassadors already comprises over 1,100 people and invites mayors, policy-makers, local leaders and influencers to join them.

Launched by the European Commission as part of the European Green Deal, the EU Climate Pact is a movement of people united by a shared mission to build a more sustainable Europe and help the EU to become climate-neutral by 2050. Climate Alliance is actively shaping the EU initiative as part of the Secretariat of the European Climate Pact.
