How can energy renovation become a tool for both climate action and social justice? As Europe accelerates the energy transition, this EPAH Lunch Talk explores how renovation policies and housing strategies can better address energy poverty, particularly in light of regional disparities and rising housing costs.

Building on insights from the 2nd EPAH Practitioners’ Event, this session will connect lessons learned with wider EU renovation goals and policies. It will spotlight how to:

• Protect vulnerable households from rent increases or displacement after renovation
• Improve access to renovation funding for low-income and multi-apartment dwellings
• Strengthen links between social housing, tenant protections, and renovation planning.
