New peer learning opportunities available for cities and towns across Europe

The NetZeroCities initiative currently offers three exciting opportunities for interested cities and towns to learn from mission cities:

  • New call for the Cities Mission Twinning Learning Programme
    During this 12-month peer learning journey, selected partner cities are brought together with one of the 19 participating mission cities. The aim is to help participating cities develop practical solutions, deepen climate knowledge and accelerate transformation processes. Interested cities can apply until 12 September! Read more
  • Online  Discussion Groups
    This 6-month online programme runs from September 2025 to February 2026 and offers the opportunity to explore innovative climate-neutral solutions with Mission Cities. Participating cities will learn directly from Mission Cities, plan new climate actions and receive customised 1-1 expert support for their projects. Applications are open until 15 September. Read more
  • NetZeroCities online course "Design your City’s Net Zero Strategy: Online Planning Lab"
    The online course is aimed at political and municipal decision-makers. Participants receive practical tools and expert knowledge to drive systemic change towards climate neutrality and receive certification upon completion of the programme. Registration is already open. Read more
