11th Climate Star competition

Shining a light on local success stories

Showcasing positive stories, bringing examples of success to the fore, honouring municipal ambitions – that's what our Climate Star competition is all about. The Climate Star competition recognises the impressive and creative solutions of Climate Alliance members from across Europe.

In 2025, we have honoured innovative and sustainable role model projects in local climate protection and climate adaptation for the eleventh time. We were accepting applications from 26 August to 15 November 2024. The winners of the 11th edition of the Climate Star competition were honoured at a gala ceremony in the City of Wiener Neustadt (AT) on 8 May 2025. Explore their inspiring examples online, via dedicated project videos as well as in the Climate Star brochure!
