WHY Open Day: What types of energy consumers are there in Europe?

This workshop will be an opportunity to know more about how energy is consumed in households and state-of-the-art quantitative and qualitative techniques to assess behaviour in households. Participants will learn about the most typical yearly electricity consumption patterns from different countries in Europe as well as how the lockdowns have affected them. Moreover, the event will provide a list of the most relevant socio-psychological determinants that impact on the investment decisions related to different aspects of the energy transition in households (mobility, energy efficiency, flexibility and building thermal isolation).
The workshop will be held in the framework of the European Sustainable Energy Days 2022. Climate Alliance helps organising the Energy Day as part of the WHY project.
