Smart City World Expo Congress
The Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), to be held this year from 4 to 6 November in Barcelona, is the world’s largest event for cities and urban innovation. Every year, municipal representatives, national and regional government leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs and industry executives gather in the tens of thousands at the Smart City Expo to revisit complex issues at the heart of a new model of city and society.
Since its first edition in 2011, the Smart City Expo has helped cities and territories become better places to live in by bringing them together and presenting the latest market-ready urban solutions. It focuses on seven main tracks touching the most pressing issues facing cities: Enabling Technologies, Energy & Environment, Mobility, Governance & Economy, Living & Inclusion, Infrastructure & Building and Blue Economy.
Together with its co-located events Tomorrow.Mobility, Tomorrow.Building, and Tomorrow.Blue Economy World Congress, this year’s edition will welcome over 25,000 professional visitors from more than 130 countries around the globe, 1,100+ exhibitors, 600+ speakers and representatives from 850+ cities.
This year, Climate Alliance has teamed up with the organisation team to become an official partner of the event, giving Climate Alliance members access to discounted event passes and exhibition space as well as priority placement on SCWEC calls for speakers, sessions and awards. Interested members are encouraged to contact communications(at)climatealliance.org for more information.
