Renewable Energy Regions – Creating Partnerships for Renewable Energy
How to match renewable energy demand and supply within a region? How can urban areas meet their energy demand with renewable energy from reliable regional sources? These questions will be the main focus of this online conference.Tarek Al-Wazir, the German State of Hesse's Minister for Economy, Energy, Transport and Housing, will open the event with a video contribution. Participants will then gain insights into how cities such as Barcelona and Hamburg are tackling challenges by establishing partnerships for renewable energies and hear contributions on the energy transition and renewable energies. A space for networking and exchange with the speakers and other participants will round out the event.
Climate Alliance is promoting the event within the Interreg project RegEnergy that aims to create renewable energy demand and supply partnerships between urbanised and surrounding rural areas. Participation is free of charge. A translation from English to German will be available.
