RegEnergy Talks: Contrasting energy community environment in two European countries

Time: 13:00 – 14:00

How are energy parks of North-West Europe involved in the energy transition? What kind of technological innovations for renewable energy are they developing?

In this second session of the RegEnergy Talks participants will learn more about the experience and solutions tested in technological energy parks based in Switzerland and Ireland to provide better access to renewable energy for local communities. Geoffrey Orlando (Planair, Swiss) and Sean Lyons (Walton Institute of Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland) will first provide necessary background about the regulatory and political environment of their respective countries before sharing their experience about the technological solutions they are developing for two energy parks.
