Overview of the Franco-German Citizens‘ Fund

The Franco-German Citizens‘ Fund is aiming at supporting civil society initiatives and to strengthen relations between France and Germany. This grant fund, financed in equal parts by both countries, is made available to French and German local authorities and associations involved in Franco-German relations. With the annual budget of 2.4 million euros, the Franco-German Citizens‘ Fund offers financial support for Franco-German projects in various fields: city partnerships, environemnt, culture, sports, healt and many more.
In the framework of the joint project TANDEM, Climate Alliance was organising this event together with Energy Cities. The project managers of the Franco-German Citizens‘ Fund, Karin Passebosc and Heike Hartmann, gave participants a better understanding of how the fund works, including scope, eligibility criteria and application procedure, as well as its topics.
The event will be held in both French (14:30) and German (15:30).
