Nature-based enterprises: delivering the Green Deal for Europe

The European Green Deal is at the heart of the EU Recovery Plan and Europe’s growth strategy for the next generation. In this event, John Bell, Director Healthy Planet of the European Commission & Hazel Chu, the Lord Mayor of Dublin will lead discussions on the potential of the nature-based economy to expand sustainable and job-intensive economic activity. This session brings together an expert panel of politicians and policy makers, nature-based enterprises and industry leaders to raise awareness of the economic, social and environmental potential of this emerging market sector.
The event is aimed at all stakeholders that are interested in the potential of nature-based enterprises to contribute to economic development and sustainable growth. Participants can get involved through interactive polls and the chat. The event will be held in English and will be supported by Climate Alliance through the project Connecting Nature.
