EU Sustainable Energy Week
Net-zero competitiveness driving EU energy transition
The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is Europe's largest annual event promoting renewables and energy efficiency. This year's theme, 'Net-zero competitiveness driving EU energy transition,' emphasizes decarbonisation through green tech for a fair transition and competitive businesses.
EUSEW will take place in Brussels and online and include:
- A policy conference with plenary and policy sessions covering topics related to net-zero technologies, cities and citizens, renewables, energy efficiency, and international cooperation;
- The EUSEW Awards
- A networking village within the Energy Fair
- The fifth edition of the European Youth Energy Day
Climate Alliance is again part of EUSEW and involved in several activities:
- 11 June: Climate Alliance’s project on energy efficient retrofits, outPHit, is a finalist at the EUSEW Award ceremony
- 12 June, 09:30 – 11:00: Cool in the city: adapting to new climate conditions
- 13 June, 09:30 – 11:00: Multilevel governance: addressing energy poverty in the energy transition era
- 13 June, 14:00 - 15:30: Acting locally for a fair and inclusive European Green Deal
EUSEW is open to international organisations, university associations, national and local authorities, professional associations, NGOs working in the field of sustainable development, consumer associations, research organisations, EU-funded projects, EU institutions, and more.
