German Municipal Climate Action Conference

The German National Coordination Office organises its Municipal Climate Action Conference once every year. The event gathers representatives of Climate Alliance members along with NGOs and committed individuals throughout Germany to discuss how global goals can be anchored on the local level as well as how implementation strategies can be developed. A key theme is always climate policy at the federal level in Germany with focal points set on fields such as energy (electricity and heat), transport, procurement, adaptation to climate change, tropical timber use and climate justice.

The Municipal Climate Action Conference is a source of information and inspriation, facilitating the exchange of experience between cities and municipalities on current issues. For more information, see the German page.
