06.11 - 17.11.2017 | Bonn, Germany
UN Climate Change Conference (COP23)
The 2017 UN Climate Change Conference will take place in Bonn but is being convened under the Presidency of Fiji. The island nation struggles with the impacts of climate change; its low-lying atolls are especially vulnerable to extreme weather events and flooding. Like many vulnerable countries, Fiji has limited resources to cope with climate change’s effects. Climate justice in the form of climate adaptation finance, effective monitoring and adherence to the Paris Agreement will thus be focal points of this 23rd Climate Summit.
Climate Alliance will be present throughout the two-week summit at a variety of key events.
