Mainstreaming adaptation and changing working routines
Discussion session at the 4th Open European Day | Bonn Resilient Cities conference
The 4th Open European Day at the Bonn Resilient Cities conference will bring together European cities and key adaptation actors from different organizations to exchange on climate adaptation and urban resilience.
Don't miss your opportunity to be part of the reference event of the year on climate change adaptation in cities! The Open European Day's unique format will have cities take the centre-stage, which will result in discussions full of up-to-the-minute examples, anchored in practical reality and directly relevant to what is happening in urban adaptation today. The main themes of the Open European Day in 2017 are transformation, innovation and co-creation.
You are warmly invited to join a discussion session hosted by the Covenant of Mayors and organised by Climate Alliance:
Transforming administrative routines to transform the city (14:30-15:30)
This discussion session offers participants the opportunity to exchange with colleagues and explore the success factors and barriers to improving administrative routines to plan and implement adaptation measures and ultimately transform the city. Members of the Climate Alliance Working Group on Adaptation along with other city representatives will share their experiences rethinking and redesigning the work of their administrations to more effectively pursue climate action strategies, and will engage in an interactive discussion with the participants of the session.
The Climate Alliance working group on adaptation will also take this opportunity to get together during the Open European Day. If you would like to meet us there, please contact adaptation(at)climatealliance.org
