A social platform for water related issues and more

Share, comment on and like water best practices

The Water Best Practices platform offers support for local authorities seeking to improve their water management. This interactive platform deals with topics ranging from drinking water scarcity to flooding and is filled expert information about a wide variety of water related issues. Everyone can join in, explore and discuss their experiences and even share their own best practices with other municipal employees around the world. The platform can also be used for awareness-raising and help municipalities communicate water issues to decision makers, key stakeholders and the wider public.

The Water Best Practices Platform was created as part of the EU project POWER (Political and sOcial awareness on Water EnviRonmental challenges) in which Climate Alliance began work with the City of Leicester (UK), the City of Milton Keynes (UK), Jerusalem’s water supply company and Sabadell’s (Spain) water supply company as well as a number of other partners across Europe.
