Turas Project: New Brochure

02.07.2012 - Representatives of 16 European cities, research institutes and Climate Alliance launched the Transitioning towards Urban Resilience and Sustainability (TURaS) project in autumn 2011. The aim of this project is to enhance urban resilience and sustainability in light of the challenges of continued urban growth and simultaneously ever-greater impact of climate change. Issues range from urban biodiversity to a higher risk of flooding to increased consumption. New strategies should be developed together, which allow the cities of Europe to adjust to climate change and to reduce their urban ecological footprint.
